Lightning, Lava, and Ash, Oh My!

In my opinion, this photo looks like it could be on a poster hanging on a Trekkie's wall, however this is an actual picture from the Shinmoedake volcano as it began spewing lava and creating some totally awesome volcanic lighting Monday, five days after it awoke from a 52-year slumber. More than 1,000 residents of southern Japan were evacuated. Experts said the Shinmoedake volcano lava dome was growing larger inside the volcano's crater. The Red Cross is Ready and Responding.
